One of my absolute favorite ways to serve our local church is photographing baptisms. To witness others profess Christ as Lord of their lives is a priceless experience. I had the awesome privilege of photographing seven individuals this morning (ages ranging from 7 to 82) who made their public confession, trusting Jesus as Lord of their lives.
"We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life." Romans 6:4
Baptism by immersion pictures the believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. It is an outward symbol of an inward experience.
On last weeks podcast Mark and I walked through the Romans Road to salvation, which was the first thing I learned as a new believer at the age of 25. You are never too old to take that step of faith and place your complete trust in Jesus as Lord of your life and secure your eternal destiny.
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." Colossians 3:23-24
The picture below is a snapshot of the many lives I've had the opportunity of serving through their walk of faith. Each folder filled with multiple baptisms, but more than that, precious memories of a transformed life. ❤️🙌🏻 Praise God from whom all blessing flow!!
